Emptiness is a way of perception, a way of looking at a certain experience. It adds nothing, yet takes nothing away from, the raw data of physical and mental situations. You look at things going on in the mind and sense with no thought of whether there’s anything lying behind them. This is called emptiness simply because it's empty of the presumptions we generally add to witness in order to make sense of it. The stories and worldviews we fashion to explain who we are and the world we live in. Although these stories and views have their uses, the questions they raise pull from a direct experience of how events impact one another in the immediate present. Therefore they get in the way when we try to understand and break the problem of suffering. Reason 1: Growth Emptiness often leads to isolation which in some situations can be good. It allows our brains to ponder and self-reflect on our current situation. Too much or too little of things can affect us negatively so make sure you do self isolate for a good period of time that your body and mind need.
